Registration is closed!

We have now 15 Registrations for Testsailing, and 5 Registrations with Boats! which is great but unfortunately Fastcraft Boats is NOT able to deliver the 2 new Assassins in time!!! Everyone will get his chance to sail my assassin perhaps this season at least next season!

Although this is very disappointing we still have Dougs Tomahawk GBR 4019 Aussie Axeman HydroFoil Moth for test sailing.

So test sailing a mordern boat is not guaranteed but if the test sailors can master the Tomahawk and conditional allow it will be possible to have a go in Flashheart!

Although it is very disappointing to not have a new Assassin at this event everyone should get a test sail and we have organised other activities so everyone will get wet...



There will also be a Laser and plenty beer. So here is looking forward to a great event.

aktueller Stand - erstes Moth Training - nur weiter so!!!!

Vorerst herzlichen Dank für die erfolgten Meldungen! Ich bin erstaunt, wie die Meldungen und auch das Interesse an dieser Veranstaltung wächst!

Derzeit sind mir noch 2-3 Testsegler bekannt die noch nicht gemeldet haben, kann also noch etwas mehr werden. Ich hoffe (und denke) nicht, dass die Meldedisziplin schlecht ist und dann wesentlich mehr (vorallem beim Testsegeln) kommen werden.

Auch bei den Meldungen für die Teilnahme an dem Training bin ich durchaus positv beeindruckt! Hier ist mir nur eine Person (gema melden) bekannt, wo die Meldung noch aussteht! Daher werden wir vorraussichtlich 5 gemeldete Boote haben!

Bei den Booten sieht der aktuelle Stand so aus:

meine Assassin wird am 21.Sept. versendet und steht daher für Testsegler bereit. Bei der Regatta werde ich selbst teilnehmen :-) - 1 Boot

Felix Assassin wird vorraussichtlich am 25. September zum Versand gebracht, was bedeutet mit etwas Glück steht auch dieses Boot für Testsegler zur Verfügung! Weiters wird Felix seinen Bladerider mitbringen; was bedeutet, dass zumindest einen Teil der Veranstaltung ein Boot zur Verfügung stehen sollte. Hoffen wir das Boot kommt rechtzeitig! - 1 bis 2 Boote

Doug Culnane wird mit seiner auf Herz und Nieren getesteten (darf dieses Wochenende noch eine Regatta damit segeln - Danke) Flashheart beim Training (leider erst ab Freitag Abend - Arbeit muss halt manchmal sein) dabei sein! Weiters wird er für das Testsegeln auch seine "alte" Motte Tomahawk; Design Aussie Axeman zur Verfügung stellen. Dieses Boot wurde von einer klassischen Moth auf eine foiling Moth umgebaut und fliegt meist nahezu perfekt! Dieses Boot wird auch nach dem Training zu verkaufen sein. - 2 Boote

Walter Ebenhöh wird aus Breitenbrunn mit seinem Bladerider anreisen. - 1 Boot

......eine Motte aus Neusiedl (melden!)- wer könnte denn das sein, ich sag nur soviel ich kenne dieses Boot genau - 1 Boot

Dann bleiben noch die vielen Meldungne aus Deutschland und Italien abzuwarten :-) oder vielleicht schafft es Orzen aus Kroatien und vielleicht......

Jetzt bleibt mir nur mehr zu hoffen, das die Boote rechtzeitig geliefert werden, beim Transport nix beschädigt wurde und das das Wetter und vorallem der Wind wie bestellt geliefert werden!

Nicht zu vergessen, bereits jetzt ein herzliches Dankeschön an diejenigen die sich bereits jetzt freiwillig als Helfer zur Verfügung gestellt haben oder es noch vor haben!!!

10 am to 11 am
* Tacks, Jibes and just sailing again

Doug and I are organising the first Austrian Moth Training.The target of the 3 day weekend is to have fun weekend on LakeNeuziedl learning about Moths and to get as many people involvedas possible. There will be boats available to test sail (wind permitting).Short training races fun competitions parties and small Regatta onthe last day. Training will consist of short racing where the leading boats haveto do extra tacks and gybes and the last boats can take a short cut.The aim is to keep the boats together and increase the fun aspect. Weiden is a great place to sail Moths and we have the kind support ofYacht Club Weiden with rescue and start boats. Accommodation at thelake can be arranged we will have parties in the evening. If the windis really strong the Weiden is a great place for wind surfing so bringyour gear. If the winds are light then we will organise volleyball and other light wind activities.
